Hey guys!! Sorry for leaving you hanging last week…I was extremely busy trying to get these floors done. We are one week away from the One Room Challenge Reveal (eeeeek) and I am soooooo happy that the install of the planked floors are finally finished. #Highlight of my ORC experience! You can hear my complaint and check out the flooring details, here (I also give a room update). Here is to this week’s update…The walls in the hallway are a stark stark white (Behr color: A bit of Sugar but I used Sherwin Williams Emerald Matte paint) and I love it. Below is a sneak peek of my floors and my walls.
This is a sponsored post. All thoughts and opinions are mine and mine alone.
I installed the door hardware from Nostalgic Warehouse. I chose to mix and match the fixtures. You can check out the gorgeous knob they sent me for my hallway door (yes, I have one of those. It separates the main area from the private areas), here. I did not want glass knobs on all of the doors so I thought I should mix and match it using Egg and Dart knobs with a crystal rosette knob. The glass knob will go on the bathroom, while the others on the bedrooms. Easy distinction for guest, right? While installing my doors, I discovered that each door hole was different some had to be drilled larger in order to fit the barrel of the knobs. Funny thing, I was drilling so hard on one of the doors I made a small hole and had to fill it. Yep, my body does not know patience…I was in rush, but it is all good now. Again, another wonderful company to work with. They have been so helpful and have answered all questions in promptly. I love them! Another note, the knobs are heavy and well constructed!!! Since the hallway is just about finished I could not give away too much, come back next week for the full review.
