Fall already? Yep, my absolute favorite season. Last week I debuted my fall harvest tablescape using faux olive branches and a mix of jewel and earth tones. Today, I am sharing a ghostly black roses skeleton wreath that I have been envisioning for quite some time. For this post I used items I already had and added some black paint to it to give it a more gothic look. Don’t be shocked if you actually find most to all of this stuff in your halloween or craft bin.

Steps to create a Ghostly Black Roses Skeleton Wreath
- Gather materials
- Paint embroidery hoop, skeleton heads, and flowers black. If you do not like the look of the all-black roses/flowers from the craft store, you can buy flowers and spray paint them using black matte spray paint.
- Once embroidery loop is dry, attach black mesh using floral wire. Cut floral wire with wire cutters. Create an organic dream catcher look by gathering mesh in an abstract way and securing it down. The mesh I used was long, so a lot of bundling went on and playing around with what looked right to me. You can also cut off the access if you want a more simple look OR if you do not want access mesh bundles.
- Attach florals with floral wire, cut wire with a wire cutter.
- With your hot glue gun adhere skeleton heads and spiders to wreath. Place skeleton heads anywhere where there are visible gaps to make it look full.
