I received a chandelier from lamps Plus. All thoughts and opinions are mine and mine alone.
This year I hosted the Summer Eclectic Home Tour and thought it would be fun to do it again, but in the Winter. I love seeing all the many cool, festive ways people decorate their home, so I asked a bunch of my friends to partake in this tour. In this tour you will see different interpretations of ones style and whether they deck the halls or just spruce up their space for winter. If you are hopping on over from CAD Interiors, welcome! I will be the last stop for today, but please stop by tomorrow and the next few days to tour some amazing homes…even a castle! This year, my holiday decor is all over the place, both interior and exterior! There are many fancy Christmas lights around the house so I decided to install a home camera system to prevent unwanted visits this winter! I only got two rooms decorated and the colour scheme is so off, I decided to call my tour a Whimsical Winter Eclectic Christmas Home Tour.
Before you go forward with this tour, you should probably check out my move-in edition home tour, so you can get a good idea of what I was working with. Nothing bad, but stylistically different.
Living Room
Before you go any further, I was inspired to go dark, whimsical, and mystical by the swan art work hanging above my fireplace. This “theme” is something I will probably elaborate more on next Christmas. It really fits the atmosphere of what is going on in my living room.
To see how I created my monogram stocking ornaments, check this post out, here.

Dining Room
Now onto the second room in my house that is actually painted and somewhat set-up…my dining room. I planed to finish this room during Thanksgiving break BUT we decided to go to Cancun instead. Yep…we had some fun! This room is my favorite room in the house. I get a lot of light in this room and I am surround by tall partition doors. It is literally stunning.
What do you think about my chandelier from lamps plus? I love it and it totally makes the room. If you want the inside scoop on what is going on daily with Domicile 37, follow me on Instagram.

jess, i am so impressed with everything you have done in your home so far. i am in love with your dramatic fireplace- it looks AMAZING for christmas!!!!
Thank you! I was worried a bit that people might think it is overly dramatic.
Your home embodies the eclectic style more than anyone else’s I know! I adore the festive holiday decor, but what really stopped me in my tracks is your dining room chairs! Those are so sexy!! Thanks for inviting me to participate in the winter home tour – after seeing today’s participants, I better step up my game before Thursday!!
P.S. I CANNOT believe you installed that chandelier all by yourself. Go girl!
Thanks girl! Those chairs were my last thrift score find from when I lived in NC.
It’s absolutely beautiful! I love how glam it looks! Thanks for organizing the hop.
Thanks Jessica!
You outdid yourself, my friend! I’m in love with your holiday decor! The pops of color are just right with your dramatic pieces – I thought the mantel was going to be my favorite part, but I think I’m with you – the dining room is AMAZING! Pinning away 🙂
Thanks, you should have seen me. I thought about whipping out my vintage christmas decor, but I did not want to overdue. I think when it comes to holiday decorating, each room will have to be different. My mind runs in so many different directions!
I’m with Cassie, I LOVE that black fireplace. Nice job on the new chandelier too. Your home is totally becoming more and more “you”.
Thank you Jess! That is one of my favorite spaces at the moment.
I love this moodly and dark interpretation of Christmas decorating. It’s still cheerful, but certainly fits with your style. Wonderful job, friend!
Awe, thank you…You so get me!
Loving the fireplace!! Ruben Ireland is such a fabulous artist – it’s the perfect finishing touch to that incredible room. Also, your chandelier is FAB! xx
Thanks girl. I really love Ruben Ireland’s art prints. If it wasn’t for the mister I would probably have them everywhere.
Jess! Wow! Your home looks so stunning. I just love your style and I love how authentic your take on the holidays are. Incredible, my sweet friend!
Much Love,
Erica
You are the sweetest! Thank you so much!
Love it Jess! It’s eclectic, cozy and gorgeous! You have such a gift at putting things together that are out of the ordinary! You have a true designers eye! Love the new chandy!!
Thanks girl1, you know…I try! lol!
Wow wow wow Jess!!! Your home is soo stunning and I just love your dining room, that chandelier truly anchors the space! I adore that swan picture too!!! Love it all and thank you again for inviting me to be a part of the tour, so much fun xx
Thank you Michelle and a HUGE thank you for participating!
LOVE it all!!! The new brass fixture in your dining room is gorgeous. I think it’s great that you incorporated both the fun, whimsical holiday touches in the dining room with the more modern, moody holiday decor in the living room. It’s the epitome of eclectic! Love your black fireplace…and that swan portrait… gorgeous! What a fantastic inspiration piece. Your new home is coming together so beautifully!
Awe, thank you so much Carol it means a lot considering your house is like WHOA…gorgeous!
This is so lovely, Jess. I love traditional decorations, and I think we have the same brass deer. I guess we ARE brass sisters. I have a pair of them. Found them at a flea market a couple of months ago. So cute! I love how you are decorating your new home.
Girl, we just have the same style. 🙂 Brass style! I am anxiously waiting for your tour, you seem to surprise me all the time!!!!!!!
I love your decor, Jess! The mantel is gorgeous and you can never have too much black in a room, so keep on keeping on. Great minds think alike–I ordered the same chandelier for my dining room! It’s the perfect mix of classic lines with just a hint of modern thrown in for good measure. Thanks so much for hosting and I’m loving seeing so many different home styles!
You and I must think alike…that is the very reason why I chose this chandelier. I do not know if you received yours, but it is gorgeous!!!Thanks girl for your kind words and participation it really means a lot to me.
Wow! After seeing your move in tour post, this is a dramatic change!! Your style looks so great in this house and you’ve done so much in a short two months. LOVE your moody fireplace mantel and your colorful dining room table.
Thank you Kathy!
Oh my Gosh! So many details to love!!!! I adore your fireplace and your cathedral ceilings! Love your style, and your Christmas tree is gorge!!!!!!
Thank you Carli! That ceiling is like whoa. I thought I wanted to keep the beams brown, but I am so happy I painted it. Thank you again for your sweet comment. I look forward to your home tour.
So pretty! I LOVE those stockings!
Awe, thank you!
So jealous of all those gorgeous built-ins, you’ve done so much is such a short time and decorated for Christmas too. You’re a rock star. Love all the little touches especially the dining table with the pops of color against the black.
Thanks girl. I love the built-ins and I am so happy that we were able to find a house with some already installed.
If you see a crazy number of repins off this post it’s because I basically pinned everything. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the dining room. It has so much drama, and the colour palette is perfect for the space. Where are your chairs from?! they’re perfect!
Thanks for all the repins! I knew you would like the dining room. The chairs were thrifted and if I told you how much you would probably faint because they were that cheap. The brand is Casa Bique << look them up, they have some HOOOOTTTT stuff.
WOWIE!!! You have really found your element. This new house is totally you and allowing you all the creativity that I knew you had the entire time. So beautiful and I adore your great room styling. The dining room is spectacular with all those nutcrackers!!
Thanks, what can I say, I have a nutcracker addiction! haha!
Jess! I love how you decorated you ORC space for Christmas! It’s so classy and sassy all at the same time! Thank you again for hosting this awesome tour circuit.
Thanks girl! I am so happy to have you participate again!
I so loved your unique tour and I don’t think I’ve ever seen the before either. So glad I clicked over. Happy Holidays!
Thanks Julia for your sweet words, it means a lot coming from you! Happy Holidays to you as well!
Jess, I absolutely LOVE your place…it’s so incredibly unique, and you have such a flair for incorporating dramatic and glamorous touches in your interiors! Seriously adore the mood in your home and that nutcracker collection is too fun. And those dining room chairs are beyond amazing! Happy Holidays, my friend!
Awe, thank you Astrid…that means a lot to me! Happy Holidays to you and your family!
I so love love love your home! It’s so you, but you still added fun Christmas touches here and there. The fireplace is my fave 😉 Happy Holidays friend!
There is SOOOO much to love in this post! Your new home looks wonderful! I’m obsessing over your stockings, bar cart and all of the texture in your tree decor!! And that gold reindeer – WHAT?! Beautiful job, Jess and thanks a million for hosting!! xo
