OMG, it is that time again and y’all I don’t feel ready!!! I decided to participate in the One Room Challenge hosted by Linda from Calling It Home with Better Homes and Garden as their media sponsor. I am so excited about this challenge. I haven’t participated in the One Room Challenge the last two years and I just need the motivation to get this space done. The room we are focusing on is the bathroom. The bathroom was remodeled late 80’s, um, early 90’s and just needs work. It has been an eyesore and a place I don’t even like entering. I didn’t even shower in there.

Above is a photo from the listing. I mean, who puts carpet in a bathroom? What is that clock for? Why is that shower so small? Why is that tub sooooo freakin’ huge? I mean…I don’t know!!! My main goal is to make this space more functional for our needs and to add a bit of soul to it. This room is large, it measures approximately 11×12, the size of a good sized room. I would like to make this into a galley-like bathroom (if that is even a thing).

I have gone back and forth on my plans for this room…to add an alcove or to not add one? We had 2 sets of electricians over and I decided that the alcove room is a no go. I do plan to fill that dead space with storage of some sort. My plans are not set in stone as I am still working on some finishing plans. Until then, pray for me because I have been indecisive about this whole space.

I just cannot make my mind up, so here are some of my vision boards along with the one above. I have more but that will make this post extra long.
