I was looking at my calendar the other day and a thought came to mind…Thanksgiving is going to come super fast this year! It is going to feel like it is coming tomorrow, no lie! We are still only in the beginning of November, but guys, the kids only have one more week of school before Thanksgiving break! This year we are on an incredibly tight budget, but I still wanted to create a thanksgiving setting that we can appreciate. For this tablescape, I decided to use item I already had. It all kind of just meshed together and I ended up creating a Bohemian Eclectic Thanksgiving Tablescape.
Come next year, I plan to make this space my full time studio, so this may be the first and last Thanksgiving we eat in this space. I already gave the mister a “heads up.”
You may remember the purple glassware, macrame runner, and stoneware bowls from my Fall Harvest table that I did with World Market.
I really like to mix and match dishes whenever I create a tablescapes. This also works when you do not have a complete set of dishes. It adds interest to a table and the pattern charger adds a bit of character and personality to the Thanksgiving table setting.
To add height to this table, I used brass candle holders and my all time favorite, black candlesticks. I also placed some velvet pumpkins on crystal candleholders.
All though this picture is not the best, it is one of my favorite views in the house. I love the little doorway that connects my dining room to my kitchen and I just love looking at into this room. It is utterly gorgeous! I look forward to this Thanksgiving and spending it with small family. I love them and the fact that it will be spent in our first house, is icing on the cake!
