Sharing my Kitchen Plans: 3 Plans 1 room for the first week of the One Room Challenge
I literally waited ’til the final hour to decide that I was going to jump in and participate in the One Room Challenge hosted by Linda from Calling it Home. Guys, I really just need the motivation. I have a pretty spacious kitchen that I will be working on and it can be daunting to take on such a task. Below are some before pictures that were taken on my phone when we first move in.
Come on guys…can we say COUNTRY? Yep, that it the vibe one hundred percent!
Guys, I have been planning my kitchen makeover for some time. I started tearing it down, impulsively, this past winter….Well, it all started when our kitchen sink stopped working. So things do look a little different. I will not be reconfiguring the kitchen or taking the bulkhead/soffit/drop down out. It makes no sense to. I like my kitchen, I am not one of those designers who take a perfectly good vintage kitchen that functions and strips it down to bones and replaces it with new stuff just to move things around or because it looks old….NOPE, not doing it. The only thing I may rip out is the vent above my cooktop. It is ugly. I am contemplating on putting in a faux one, since we never use ours anyways.
Kitchen Plans:
Option 1: Vintage Farmhouse
Option 2: Vintage Eclectic
Option 3: Vintage Soul (with a European Flair)
Which plan do y’all think I should roll with? I can tell you, I am not 100% sure what I am going to do, but it will definitely be a cozy, worn, lived-in kitchen…I know that for sure!
